ERNEST MIDEGA
Programs Liaison Advisor
Ernest is a highly experienced Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (M&E) professional with over thirteen years of expertise in humanitarian and development programming across East and Central Africa. He combines strong technical skills in quantitative data analysis, survey design, mobile data collection and data quality assurance with proven leadership in project management and implementation. Ernest has led multidisciplinary teams, coordinated large-scale surveys, and overseen end-to-end project cycles across sectors including food security, WASH, health and livelihoods. Currently in a senior leadership role, he provides strategic direction on M&E frameworks, theory of change, and organisational learning. He's proficient in SPSS, STATA, R, and ODK, and is passionate about strengthening data-driven decision-making, improving accountability, and delivering measurable impact in complex humanitarian contexts.

BARNABAS SAOKE
Administration & Governance Advisor
Barnabas is our Administration & Governance Advisor at WENDO. He is a social worker with extensive experience in child and family assessments, child protection and kinship assessments.
Barnabas is also trained in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy and delivers workshops to kinship carers on trauma, attachment and therapeutic parenting.
As a qualified Practice Educator, Barnabas is a member of a teaching partnership which brings together the Universities of Sussex and Brighton, and East Sussex and Brighton and Hove local authorities. In this add-on role, he sits on the practice assessment panels at the two universities, making recommendations on student social workers’ readiness for practice. Barnabas has been involved with WENDO since its inception.
